While there are new movies that are fun and enjoyable, they just don‘t have the same impact as the movies we remember as kids/teenagers.
So, we figured we were not alone in our nostalgia and created a podcast to entertain people who feel the same as us.
We will talk about what made certain movies so memorable. We will talk about a movie so cheesy but still makes us smile. We will share a memory of watching a movie for the first time.

This week on the action show the guys celebrate Charlie's birthday month by letting him choose the movie. And of course "There can be only one" choice for that movie...The Highlander. Nate also crashes the party once he found out the movie selection so it turned into a three way discussion on why The Highlander had such a huge impact on all of the guys growing up. From sword fights, beheadings, quotable lines, and lets not forget a killer soundtrack done by none other than Queen...what's not to love about this 80s classic. So sit back as Dan tries his best to contain Charlie and Nates Highlander knowledge and excitement to just one episode (he tried) and realize that not one drop of alcohol was consumed during this recording (its true...lol).

Welcome to the first Horror episode of 2022 as well as our very first Double Freature! Nate asked if they could start the year off with something special and Charlie said lets go big for 2022 and do two movies out "The Gate". So Nate chose a childhood favorite with The Gate and Charlie picked a movie he had yet to see based entirely on the cover art with "Cellar Dweller". What a blast the guys had recording this episode as they got to relive some of their childhood memories and remind the listeners that it doesn't take a huge budget or star studded cast to make a great movie. Probably the very first sword and sorcery movie either of them watched as kids seeing as how He-Man was such a huge influence in most boys from that era. Join the guys as they talk about their first memories of the movie and find out what TBS and HBO actually stand for. Hear how this movie even in 2022 is still giving the guys gifts they didn't know they needed and hear quite possibly the greatest word in all written history.

Charlie stumbled upon this gem while doing research for the From Beyond episode, ordered it and then convinced Nate to order it as well completely based off the cover art alone! So the guys have been saving this movie to watch for a special occasion and what better time than New Years...so say good bye to 2021 and ring in the new year listening to Nate and Charlie discuss The Deadly Spawn!!!

This Christmas the guys got invited to a holiday party by mistake but they made the best of it by saving everyone from a severe case of boredom. That's right the Facebook group voted so Charlie and Dan kinda listened as they break down the cultural icon that Die Hard became instead of a play by play of a movie everyone has seen. The guys talk about their earliest memories of seeing the movie as well as the impact it had on the action genre itself moving forward. Nate and Charlie were hopefully good little boys this year as they dig into their very first Horror Christmas episode for the podcast. Scream Factory gave us an early Christmas present in the form of 'Krampus the Naughty Cut' in UHD 4K and Blu-Ray this year and the guys couldn't wait to unwrap it and sneak a peek. The guys bring in a very special guest this week, Jimmy from Live and in Color with Wolfie D and soon to be cohost of Give Me Back My Pro Wrestling set to debut by the end of the year. So to make him feel at home Charlie and Dan decided to cover The Condemned starring the one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin (WHAT?!)....can I get a HELL YEAH!!!! Join the guys as they dig into what makes this a fantastic homage to the action movies that preceded it in the 80s and 90s as well as dig a bit more into the beginning of WWE Studios and the impact wrestling had on us as kids...and as adults.
So pull up a chair ring side and slam a couple brews as the boys drop the "Stunner" on The Condemned!!!!

Join Charlie and Nate as they get a spoiler free behind the scenes look straight from Director/Writer Bobby Easley and Director of Photography James Brenton of the upcoming film HP Lovecrafts The Witch House (summer 2022 release). As stated this is a spoiler free discussion and allowed us to dig more into the thought process and the early stages of development for independent film makers while also touching on non spoiler parts of the film. So sit back and enjoy Nate absolutely nailing his questions as we find out some stories that completely blew our minds as well as Charlie pointing out some highlights that our guest were blown away by the fact that we noticed.
