Hologram Man - B/Action

Only one man could lead us into another year of B-ACTION badassery and only one movie studio could usher us into a new era of wall to wall B-ACTION goodness. Joe Lara takes us into the not so distant future in 1995’s Hologram Man from PM Entertainment! Not to be confused with Demolition Man! Because basically it's the same plot. But that doesn't matter though thanks to constant explosions, badass chase scenes, roid rage, and excellent practical effects! Does it make a whole lot of sense? Hell no. Do bullets blow up cars? Hell yes. Will Charlie need a clean pair of underwear? You'll have to listen to find out!

Yakuza Apocalypse - Action

If you know anything about director Takashi Miike's filmography then you'll be well prepared for the insanity, head scratching confusion and WTFs of Yakuza Apocalypse. This is such a Pete movie that his picture should be in the IMDB entry. If you decide to watch it, free on Tubi by the way, please go into it with the understanding that the film isn't to be understood but rather experienced or maybe even endured....hence Month of Chaos!!!!!!!

Terrifier - Horror

Parker from Dissect That Film joins us to cover the sensation that is Terrifier. The film is shockingly polar and there are few fans that hover in the middle of this film. The perfect example of "you love it or you hate it."  If you're here to listen to Charlie crap on a movie then this is your episode, however Charlie is very good at making his points clear and succinct without becoming a petulant child pouting in the corner because he watched a movie with a clown. Anna and Parker are fans but also see the numerous flaws in the film. Pete was recovering from a long bender of a weekend and can not be bothered. Despite all the discourse, everyone agreed that the gore and David Howard Thornton's performance as Art the Clown are a chef's kiss and deserve the all the accolades. Now if we could just get a 90 minute cut of Terrifier 2 and 3 we might have a hell of a franchise on our hands.

RoboCop 2 - Action

Expectations were pretty low for a sequel that is hated by the masses but after watching the movie I'd like to ask these masses, "Have you actually watched Robocop 2, or are you just repeating what others are saying?"  Robocop 2 was a first time watch for Anna and Pete but was such an unexpected homerun that neither of the hosts can explain the distain for the film. Robocop is a masterpiece of action cinema but 2 is a hoot. Think of it like Gremlins and Gremlins 2, very different films that are both incredibly entertaining. Robocop 2 is a strong recommend, just don't take it too seriously.

Spider Baby - Horror

Once thought to be "Lost Media," Spider Baby has thankfully been rediscovered and given a proper Blue Ray release by Arrow. The last film of legendary genre actor Lon Chaney Jr. puts out a powerful performance in this ominous, horrifying rendition of an "Old Dark House" film and Sid Haig flexes his acting chops without ever saying a word. Charlie blew Pete and Anna's mind when he suggested that Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses is a spiritual remake and the more they talked about it the more they agreed. This one's in the public domain so it's easy to find and the entire cast suggests you spend the 80 minutes to experience a true cult film.

The Punisher 1989 - B/Action

Mickey's birthday month takes a dark turn with 1989’s The Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren and Louis Gossett Jr. We needed a little help to contain this level of violence so we recruited Nate to help us wade through the bullets and blood! What happens when American gangsters go to war with the Yakuza? They get PUNISHED. We touch on the comic book inspirations, the ruthless villains, and one big glaring omission from the characters gear. Big explosions! Mountains of bullets! A ridiculous amount of knives! It gets us a little giddy just thinking about it…

Bullet Train Explosion - Action

Pete would like to apologize for picking another long film but not too much because this movie was great. Our " Come What May," month kicked us right in the goodie bits and we lost an episode. Whatever, shit happens. So instead of a horror movie we bring you an action movie....again. When this film dropped in late April 2025, Pete was excited to see that director Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla) was at the helm and he did NOT disappoint. Admittedly, the film could have shaved a solid 35 minutes off without losing any excitement or story but the gang loved it. As always, please watch the movie before you listen. It's worth your time!

Where Steven Seagal does a live commentary track alone with the movie Exit Wounds. So fire up your copy of Exit Wounds, hit that play button once he tells you too, and just enjoy the ride. 

The Rock - Action

There's so much machismo in The Rock that you can smell the musk on set. If lots of shooting and lots of dick wagging are your idea of a good time then this is your kind of movie. Low blows aside...(giggity), The Rock is quite a bit of fun thanks to an amazing cast of actors, incredible sets and real life SEALs. Even Pete liked it and he hates these kind of movies.  As far as action movies go, you'll love this one.
