While there are new movies that are fun and enjoyable, they just don‘t have the same impact as the movies we remember as kids/teenagers.
So, we figured we were not alone in our nostalgia and created a podcast to entertain people who feel the same as us.
We will talk about what made certain movies so memorable. We will talk about a movie so cheesy but still makes us smile. We will share a memory of watching a movie for the first time.

Charlie finally caved and allowed the boys to pick a martial arts movie, specifically a Bruce Lee movie "Fists of Fury". And from the start of the episode he regretted it...not the movie mind you, he regretted giving the monkeys the keys to the zoo. After starting the show off the rails with bad impersonations of each other there just seemed like there was something in the water in Ohio. But the guys did manage to talk about the movie and dig into the history, life, and lore of Bruce along with how to approach the subject matter in the movie beyond the revenge and the fighting. Overall the guys really enjoyed looking back on this martial art classic that they all grew up watching, and listen to Charlie slowly descend into madness as his co-hosts test his patience and editing ability. Nate is grounded....Nate is grounded.....Nate is grounded!!!!! Yes Charlie agreed to this movie but only because he wanted to impress the shows new part time co-host Pete (Good Beer Bad Movie Night) by debuting his appearance with an actual Italian horror film "The House by the Cemetery". But Bob had other plans in store for us, along with his parents of the year... last place winners 10 years running and lets not forget Dr. Fruedenstien...Frankenhouser....Fauchicula....or whatever his name was. This movie was a mess but the guys were still able to make an entertaining episode even though they also recorded it early Saturday morning which will now forever be known as 'Fulci and Coffee'....and as a treat Charlie create an extra special musical number fully inspired by this movie!!! So listen along as the guys try to make heads or tails of this Italian "classic?" and see if maybe there's some hope for future Fulci films on the show...spoiler...of course there will be!

Max was an absolute freaking blast and neither of the guys were prepared for the peak inside Max's brain. They dig into the behind the scenes of movie making and how a movie goes from paper to film, including a glimpse of where these insane ideas even come from. Also get an inside look of Max's publishing company Perpetual Motion Machine and its offshoot Ghoulish Books along with some fantastic personal stories from the man himself. The guys really enjoyed having Max on the show and hope that everyone else enjoys listening to this wild ride!!!!

We made it one full year of podcasting!!!! And what better way to celebrate than with the sequel to the movie that we started this journey with.... This months final birthday selection by Charlie is one of his favorite horror movies if not 'THE' number one horror movie in his list. Nate and Charlie take a fond look back at this horror classic that was not only directed by one of the horror elites John Carpenter but was also written by the master Stephen King himself. This week on the action show the guys celebrate Charlie's birthday month by letting him choose the movie. And of course "There can be only one" choice for that movie...The Highlander. Nate also crashes the party once he found out the movie selection so it turned into a three way discussion on why The Highlander had such a huge impact on all of the guys growing up. From sword fights, beheadings, quotable lines, and lets not forget a killer soundtrack done by none other than Queen...what's not to love about this 80s classic. So sit back as Dan tries his best to contain Charlie and Nates Highlander knowledge and excitement to just one episode (he tried) and realize that not one drop of alcohol was consumed during this recording (its true...lol).

Welcome to the first Horror episode of 2022 as well as our very first Double Freature! Nate asked if they could start the year off with something special and Charlie said lets go big for 2022 and do two movies out "The Gate". So Nate chose a childhood favorite with The Gate and Charlie picked a movie he had yet to see based entirely on the cover art with "Cellar Dweller". What a blast the guys had recording this episode as they got to relive some of their childhood memories and remind the listeners that it doesn't take a huge budget or star studded cast to make a great movie.
