Max Booth III Interview ”We Need To Do Something” screenwriter

Ok everyone get comfortable and strap in for this wild ride of an interview! The guys got to talk to the writer/screenwriter of the movie "We Need To Do Something" currently streaming on HULU. Max was an absolute freaking blast and neither of the guys were prepared for the peak inside Max's brain. They dig into the behind the scenes of movie making and how a movie goes from paper to film, including a glimpse of where these insane ideas even come from. Also get an inside look of Max's publishing company Perpetual Motion Machine and its offshoot Ghoulish Books along with some fantastic personal stories from the man himself. The guys really enjoyed having Max on the show and hope that everyone else enjoys listening to this wild ride!!!!

Delta Force 2 Anniversary Q&A Episode

We made it one full year of podcasting!!!! And what better way to celebrate than with the sequel to the movie that we started this journey with.... Delta Force 2, just like the show double the action double the fun. But wait there's more....we added our first ever Q&A to the episode with questions from group members and Instagram followers. So take some time and join Charlie, Dan, and Nate as they talk about everything Chuck Norris in the movie and answer some amazing questions for the audience. This months final birthday selection by Charlie is one of his favorite horror movies if not 'THE' number one horror movie in his list. Nate and Charlie take a fond look back at this horror classic that was not only directed by one of the horror elites John Carpenter but was also written by the master Stephen King himself. Listen along as the guys remember the first time they watched this movie and why Charlie has such a strong nostalgic pull to it and how Nate has a renewed love for it as well.

The Highlander

This week on the action show the guys celebrate Charlie's birthday month by letting him choose the movie. And of course "There can be only one" choice for that movie...The Highlander. Nate also crashes the party once he found out the movie selection so it turned into a three way discussion on why The Highlander had such a huge impact on all of the guys growing up. From sword fights, beheadings, quotable lines, and lets not forget a killer soundtrack done by none other than Queen...what's not to love about this 80s classic. So sit back as Dan tries his best to contain Charlie and Nates Highlander knowledge and excitement to just one episode (he tried) and realize that not one drop of alcohol was consumed during this recording (its true...lol).

The Gate / Cellar Dweller Double Freature

Welcome to the first Horror episode of 2022 as well as our very first Double Freature! Nate asked if they could start the year off with something special and Charlie said lets go big for 2022 and do two movies out "The Gate". So Nate chose a childhood favorite with The Gate and Charlie picked a movie he had yet to see based entirely on the cover art with "Cellar Dweller". What a blast the guys had recording this episode as they got to relive some of their childhood memories and remind the listeners that it doesn't take a huge budget or star studded cast to make a great movie. Find out where each movie lands on the Machete scale and hear a rather unusual Raining Blood body count........  

The Beastmaster

The action show is starting off the new year with a real blast from the past from Charlie and Dan's childhood with The Beastmaster. Probably the very first sword and sorcery movie either of them watched as kids seeing as how He-Man was such a huge influence in most boys from that era. Join the guys as they talk about their first memories of the movie and find out what TBS and HBO actually stand for. Hear how this movie even in 2022 is still giving the guys gifts they didn't know they needed and hear quite possibly the greatest word in all written history.

So join Dan and Charlie as they strip down to their loin cloths and leather studded arm braces while they cross the desert talking about a childhood favorite in this nostalgia heavy episode. 

The Deadly Spawn

Let's finish out the new year with the guys as they introduce you to a relatively unknown alien invasion movie. Charlie stumbled upon this gem while doing research for the From Beyond episode, ordered it and then convinced Nate to order it as well completely based off the cover art alone! So the guys have been saving this movie to watch for a special occasion and what better time than New Years...so say good bye to 2021 and ring in the new year listening to Nate and Charlie discuss The Deadly Spawn!!!

With a kill count that's Nates patented Quality over Quantity....and listen to Charlie talk about how he actually fell in love with this independant jewel.....

Yep its Die Hard

This Christmas the guys got invited to a holiday party by mistake but they made the best of it by saving everyone from a severe case of boredom. That's right the Facebook group voted so Charlie and Dan kinda listened as they break down the cultural icon that Die Hard became instead of a play by play of a movie everyone has seen. The guys talk about their earliest memories of seeing the movie as well as the impact it had on the action genre itself moving forward. So take off your shoes, make fists with your toes, and sit back and enjoy a holiday treat as you hide from the family this Christmas!!!
